The Carlsen Cello Foundation
Making a Contribution
The Foundation needs donations and in-kind contributions to help acquire more cellos and to support efforts to seek out deserving students. There are several ways to support these activities.
Ways to Contribute
- Direct contributions in any amount help the Foundation purchase quality cellos. To make a monitary contribution, click here.
- Do you have a cello that is not being played? You can donate it to the Foundation.
- You can purchase an instrument and it will be placed with a student in your name. Or, you can arrange to sponsor the loan of a cello to a specific student for an agreed-upon length of time.
The Carlsen Cello Foundation is a charitable, 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions and donations of instruments are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

"This foundation helps fulfill a great need. Many fine students do not have an instrument that they deserve."
